im not eactly sure how old the gun is i bought if off hunting buddy, i have shot the gun 2 times and he told me he hadnt shot a box of shells through it, i can email pics. the gun is in great shape, no scratches or dents it has a syn stock instead of the wood.

ill run the sereal number through remington and see how onld it is, i know for sure it is a newer model no older than 10 years

You don't need to run the serial number. The two letter code on the left side of the barrel denotes month and year of manufacture. Go to the remington.com website and find it.

i heard back from remington the gun was made in 1999 and bought in 1999.
