Q:
The bass and the crappie are already spawning here in Indiana. Altough a few are still hunting. Are the bass spawning yet where you fish?

I now live in Georgia but for the past 11 years I lived in southwest Virginia and fished the New River. The last week or March and the first two weeks of April have historically been the best time to fish for big smallies. The spawn seemed to peak at this time of year and this year is no different. My friends are hounding me to come up for a hot and fast weekend of fishing.
