Q:
What's the biggest largmouth bass you've ever witnessed caught by someone else? The biggest I've witnessed was caught in a strip, on buzz bait. Lots of weeds neer the shore kept my brother for landing it, he lost it once. He hooked it a second time, so I waded out through weeds and grabbed it by the jaw. It was a 24" long 7 1/2 lb skinny momma bass. No telling how much she would have weighed in the fall. The strip pit has since been filled in. As soon as I get his permission I will post a photo of it.

My dad caught a 10 lbs largmouth on a red weedless worm about 10 years ago. We were in a canoe in this small pond out in the middle of no where, you had to carry the canoe 300 yards through the swamp just to get to the pond. Any way my dad caught it and held it up for me to see, it was a sight to be sure.
10 pound hulo fish
the hulo fish is a lure i dont know its real name
Caught a 10 pound 9 ounce bass in Virginia back when I was a teenager on a summer trip, supposed to have been back East to see the Capital, but the people I stayed with soon found out I was happier being dropped off at a different stream or lake every morning than going to museums and such, though the Civil War Battle Fields around Fredricksburg where I stayed and I believe it was the Confederate Museum in Richmond where well worth seeing.....
I saw a guy in Cuba catch an eight-pounder like it was an everyday affair. I nailed a couple of one- to two-pounders that trip. He matched that, plus the eight.
I posted a photo of the Bass.
