im a beginner in bass fishing and just wanted some tips for bass fishing for this time of year in upstate south carolina

Try to go with someone that has experience and knows what they are doing. Rapalas and spinner basis in 5-10 feet are the easiest, or just texas style worm.

try throwing a plastic like a frog or salamander in the heavy weeds on a heavier line and just work it across the top of the weeds.
