A lindy rig is a small hook tied to about 5-7 feet of line tied then to a swivel. Then there is a weight on the other side of the swivel.

O and you use it normally for walleye fishing. You just troll it on the bottom and jig it.

A lindy rig is a live bait rig. There's a sinker on the line that should sink to the bottom. after that you probably should attach a barrel swivel BEFORE the floating jighead. Just hook some type of lije bait on the end. It is in the December '09 Walleye section.
