Spinner bait because it is the most versatile and they produce excellent results. You can also cover a lot of water quickly when you need to.

Depends on where you are. Fishing is different everywhere you go. Here it is green grubs. In the deep South in brackish waters, it is a purple worm rigged to twirl. I can easily catch 20 in an hour when conditions are right. Solunar table, tide, wind, temperature. With a partner, we caught 40 in an hour. Hint: That's how long they bit.

If ye're not there at that hour, ye'll get nothing.

There is no "best" lure. Different lures work at different times and in different conditions. I will go with firehawk though, the spinnerbait is one of the most versatile.

If I had to fish with one bait it would be a spinner bait, white or chartreuse, gold blades. You can slow roll it, fish it mid depth and buzz it on top.

My favorite big fish bait by far is a Super Spook or simular top water baits. Buzz bait @ night or at dusk or dawn, suspending mirro lures, deep diving plugs, jig n pigs worked in heavy cover, spinners, Texas and Corolina rigged worms, spoons all produce big fish for me. If you throw it they will bite, most of the time. Get out and throw every thing in your box till you figure out what the fish are hitting best for the day and conditions. Good luck!!

They are hard to come by but if you can get some live shad you will have some good luck. I get mine from the lakes spill way. They are really hard to keep alive but I have caught some really nice bass off of them.

I've had pretty good luck with crankbaits and plastic worms, spinners are fun to use too.

If I had to use only one, it would have to be a Shadrap. They are not work as well in the south east where bass have lots of crawling food but they do work very well all over the country.

A soft plastic worm is easy and can be fished in so many different ways. If i was fishing a new place and had only one lure to use I'd have to go with a berkely powerworm or a white or chartuese spinner.

Fremale bass on a bed will try to protect their nest an will chase a broom stick with a hook on it, but fish that are feeding like to be fished with something that is simular to the natural food that they are eating, therefore I use soft plastic worms when fishing deep. I use a snagless sally with uncle josh pork frog on it when I need a spinner bait. Remember, very thing tastes better with pork fat on it.
