Q:
I have a cabin on a Lake called Bass Lake, and the conditions for bass are perfect. There are lily pads and logs everywhere, and I always see big bass but all we catch are small ones. What should I do to try to hook into some bigger bass?

No real great easy answers. Try bigger lures that may discourage the smaller fish. Just keep casting and enjoy the catch.

Like huntcamp said, bigger bait, bigger fish. And also, you could try bringing an ultra light or light action rod for when you are fishing, you could try catching bluegill/bream and if you get one small enough, use it for bait!

Like has been said "BIGGER IS BETTER". I'd also try 6/8/12 in lizzards(Black/Blue tail, my fav.). Might do you some good. Bass HATE em'.
Good luck and good fishing.

Try some soft plastics in the large 10" (Anaconda) is a great worm for large bass. or go with a large jig/craw trailer combo.

Fish deeper. If your catching fish in 10ft of water or less currently, try fishing in 20 ft of water.

Try night fishing. If there's enough open water, try a big, black Jitterbug. If there's too much structure, use something weedless, big and black.

bigger bait that the littler ones aren't going to try and bite.
