For the pike and musky, big and flashy is the order of the day. Large bucktails work well. There is one marketed as "Musky Killer" that I have caught pike with (no musky here). Spoons also work well. Since the lake has not recieved much pressure, I would start with the classics: Five o' Diamonds, red and white Daredevle, and shinny silver. Buy a variety of sizes.
Many folks also use very large rapala type lures, but i don't have much experince with them myself.
hey for smallies it may sound somewhat primitive, but a eagle claw snelled hooks that have red/pink beads and a spinner on them. can get them at walmart. just rig that up with a worm on the end and a split shot about 6" - 8" above the hook, enough to get it to the bottom and let sit and then reel in a bit and repeat. my dd and i caught some monster smallies with this setup in New Hampshire on Lake Winnisquam.
That mix sounds odd to me.. Haven't seen a Canadian lake with that mixture... usually muskies and northerns don't mix and you may have to discover which are really in your lake. And they both eat all the bass available so you usually are wasting your time fishing for bass in competition with these big guys. At any rate, a red and white Daredevil will get the pike, I would forget the bass and fish for them in more southern lakes (like the U.S.). If you only have muskies, check the locals for good muskie plugs... I like big dark and hairy.
I do alot of fishing around here. But thats just what my buddy told me was in the lake. His words were bass fishing is amazing. same is pike. and i think there are some musky? so thats what im going off of haha.
