My favorite go-to bass lure is a motor-oil colored plastic worm. Pulls em out of everywhere. Second favorite has to be some type of topwater, maybe a Pop-R or a buzzbait. Everyone is going to have different answers for this one, so get ready for a long list.
I love fishing top water minnows, rat'l traps and twin tailed grubs Texas rigged or on a jig head. One thing I like to find is a 7" twin tailed grub. The biggest I've been able to find are 4". I like silver and silver and black for the minnows and rat't traps and pumpkin, greens, purples, black and reds for the plastics.
I've had my best luck with top water poppers (hula-popper) and with Rat-L-Traps. Getting the lure to the bass is half the battle so make sure to keep something weedless in your tackle box as well.

A chartreuse spinner bait with gold blads is versatile and hard to beat. It can be fishe on top, at mid depth and slow rolled around structure.

Vary the size of the lures and the weights used, such as 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 etc and even try going weightless.
Jitterbugs are my old favorite, new discovery is big Yo-Zuri minnow plugs.
Hula poppers, shallow cranks, and flutter tails worms are my current favorite
