What do you mean braided line?
I like spider wire. It's pretty expensive but I honestly think it's worth it.
I use spider wire myself. Have had great luck with it. I wait til the end of fishing season in NH and go to wal-mart. I can get a spool for 2-3 bucks that would normaly cost 8-10! Keep your eyes out for end of the season deals!
I used Power Pro line this year. Great strength with smaller diameter line.
For lures go with Zoom, with reels go with Flueger.
