Seaweed or just weeds? Are you fishing a lake or a tidal/coastal area?
In lakes use a jig with a weedguard, Texas rig a worm, drag a Carolina rig. You can use crankbaits, try square bills, or buy/build a plugknocker and throw your baits into the thick stuff, that's where the big girls live!
There lots of ways to fish weedless, grubs on a jighead/Tx rigged, or try a fluke or a frog and swim it, twitch it over the weeds, letting it drop into pockets.
Use buzzbaits , spinnerbaits and swimbaits on the edges.
Hope that helps.

buzzbait is weedless and can be very exciting to see the bass devour this topwater lure.

Johnson's Silver Minnow is a weedless spoon that works wonders for me. I prefer the one with the spinner, but that makes it a little less weedless.

Try hitting it with a wacky worm rigged on a weedless hook, It'll get them ALMOST every time!
