Don't know if you're into any particular kind of fishing, but I took up Pier Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico this past summer and it nearly took over my life---caught lots of king and Spanish mackerel, bull reds, bluefish and a few pompano---my freezer is full. I have ended up with twice as much tackle as I can fit on my large size pier cart and I'm very fortunate to have an understanding wife. I'm not sure there's any such thing as too much tackle---it's just hard to find a way to use it all at once.
