I cant help but think how fun it is to catch big bass on a jitterbug when they come flying out of the water. whats your favorite lure

A spinner bait is my favorite because it is the most versatile. It is closely followed by topwater baits as #2 at the top of my topwater list is the buzzbait but any topwater bait is awesome as you said watching the fish come up and strike the bait off the surface how exciting and what an adrenaline rush.

I prefer the Zara Spook. Nothing like seeing a nearby swirl in the water just before the surface erupts.

clay cooper i have caught some of my biggest bass in them to. A friend caught two just short of iowas state record.

I love fishing with a scum frog in real thick weeds and pads. There is nothing better than having a monster bass come from straight under it, looks like fireworks going off underwater.

I like fishing a lil shallow running floating crankbait. I'll let it sit on top of the water and just twitch it and the bass just smack the pete out of it.
