I saw on the home page about the fishing banning. what is this country coming too!!!!? Not sure if I'm understanding this correctly is he proposing banning all fishing?

I haven't read into this completely but no, not banning all fishing.. that would be the most ridiculous concept ever.. Just looking at banning recreational fishing in some certain tributaries and lakes. Something like that.
The Obama fish ban story is greatly exaggerated.
Absolutely ridiculous. Amazing how "better management" turned into "Fishing Ban!!!" Thanks Glen Beck.
We better hope it's not real. May be time for the M.O.S.S.A.D.
Kyle, yes this is true. He plans to ban recreational fishing on certain inland bodies of water. However the bill leaves major loopholes in it to allow a complete ban on any body of water if they so choose. This is alarming at the least! This legislation is being written with Greenpeace and other liberal anti-hunting, fishing, ect... activists,and if you think this is a joke you better think twice and do a little research before your left with your d!(^ in your hand!!!
Kyle did they have an article I have yet to see it? I emailed the editor 3/5/10 about this because it hasn't been covered by them yet. If they did I liked to thank them for posting it.
Yes Matouse3, we can thank Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, ESPN, B.A.S.S,ect.. and many other people for bringing this to light for the hunters and fishermen of this country! Do not let you ideology trump your ability to think clearly.
Also, If you like fishing any of the Great Lakes, if this passes you'll no longer be able to "recreationally" fish them LEGALLY!

Go to the Interagency Ocean Policy Task Force (Government Agency)website, You'll have to do the search on your own. Robert Montgomery(ESPN outdoors)did have some misinformation in his article, but wasn't far off.
I did that Dcast, and I still find nothing regarding making fishing in the Great Lakes Illegal, can you tell me where you read that?
Obama, you poor little boy who didn't have a Father :( Fishing? It's not just about catching a fish, it's about a Father and Son having a relationship doing something together having the grandest of time!
