A lot of stores sell tip replacement kits. Make sure you buy the right size for the diameter of your tip.

go w/ buckhunter's advice. Super Glue a new tip on, and voila, you have a good as new rod (just a bit shorter)

You can buy replacement tips at any local sporting goods store or even Walmart.

If the rod is splintered or split at all where you broke it, cut it down to where it's solid and sand it smooth, then epoxy the tip back on.

If it's a 2 piece, you can probably buy a new end piece, or even borrow one from another rod.

that happened to me recently as well when i was at the fishing hole and for fixing i would use duct tape its the cure for everything, but what i did was i smoothed off the broken part so it wouldnt get in the way so now i just fish with a 5in shorter pole

I had this happen when someone slammed my rod in a tailgate......the rod became one guide shorter, and the eye hole at the tip was replaced. The rod will not be as sensitive with little bites, but will work great for just about everything else.

walmart or any store like it - K-mart even sells a kit with 3 tips and a glue stick (similar to glue used in hot glue gun) you melt the glue with a lighter or match)! (around $2)

Check rod end for any further fractures and re-cut straight if needed!

1. heat glue stick and drip over rod end
2. insert new eye tip onto rod end with glue (make sure you have the new tip in the proper position with other eyes!) let stand 5 mins!
3. go back to fishing!!!!!

keep left over tips and glue in tackle box

Glue kit. Also when I get new rods I tie dental floss on the tip and it will make it a lot stronger.
