Q:
What flies do carp go for? I saw on a video on Youtube Carp going for flies but it didn't say anything about the flies they were using or anything.. Does anyone know what type of fly would be used to catch Carp because to me it doesn't sound like Carp behavior. Thanks

Go to the search function on the top right corner of this page and type in carp fishing for over 1000 previous discussions on carp fishing. Lots of different flies to use.
Why doesn't it sound like carp behavior? Great thing about flyfishing when you get into it. Fish behavior can take on a totally different perspective, and that is largely due to a stronger focus on observation.
I have little experience with carp on the fly. But I have caught them on smaller olive wooly buggers. Others have said a variety of different streamers and some egg patterns also.
