Mine is my persona for my muzzleloader club based on my dutch oven baking. I've written some gear reviews for Cabela's under that handle so it was natural to use here.
I moved from the twin cities to northern mn in the fall of 2007, I trap fish hunt and camp. hence to my family thats down in the cities i am up north. :)
My blog name was Mtnhunter, pretty self explanatory for one who chased elk in the mountains. Added the "WA" (Washington State) after some zero hijacked my name on a blog by adding a period. Not a very complicated or intriguing tale.
Mine is an acronym made up of my first name (jim) and the first letter of my last name. It goes back to high school when my folks served a formal dinner for four couples before one of our proms. One of the guys was dating a young lady, who shall we say wasn't selected for her intelligence. To keep the location of where we were having dinner, he told her we were going to a new restaurant called "JIMPS". The ruse worked. Whether the rest of the evening was as successful I will never know as he was too much a gentleman to say.
Mine is my old soccer team (thunder) im not sure why i have dog in there but it goes together lol and 5 12 is my birthday. i use it for just about everything you need a user name for.
I moved to Fl. some 30yr ago and then Tree Climers
and Tree Stands were NEW Toys and that started a trend with a lot of hunters here and that was my call sigh when had C.B.Radios in our Police cars(back in the day) I love to hunt out of tree stands(NO Snakes)!
My first one here was caevedecoy, which is self explanatory. Mine now is GERG. It was a play on my name(Greg) a person hung on me. This person helped me through a very tough situation in my life and though Ive never met him face to face I consider him my friend.
Mine's pretty self explanatory. Although I've been offline for quite a while! Work has made it impossible to get on and keep track of things on here. I miss all the regulars and chattin about the great outdoors!!
I chose mine because I am convinced that when I die and make my journey to heaven, I will take a country road to get there. My avatar is a sunrise seen from the front porch of my hunting cabin.
When I was 16 I shot a pitbull that was killing my neighbors dog. So pb stands for pitbull and it happened on Dec 17.
I saved the dog, but since it wasn't on my property, I was charged with curelty to animals and had to do 100 hours of community service, pay $1,000 dollars for the dog, then all of the court and lawyer costs. That turned out to be one expensive good deed.
My tag was given to me by my parents when we first got the internet (AOL when you could set up different accounts for the fam). I think it is an appropriate summation.
the first part is a nick name from my army time,(still ongoing,) a shorter verson of my last name, and the second parts completes the name of a small boat building bussiness i'm trying to get up and going (rendyboats.com) for my post army time coming up soon.
I am a freek when it comes to whitetails. Love to hunt them, love to watch them, love to eat them. I just chose freek, because I figured an improper spelling would look better.
I grew up in South Dakota, hunting and fishing all over the state for the abundant varieties of game. Although I have moved to many different parts of the country for work and have thoroughly enjoyed each of them, I will always be a SD man. I guess you can take the boy out of the state but you can't take the state out of the boy.
My favorite means of transportation. It's like a pickup truck where stuff in the back doesn't get all wet.
Treestand, I've heard that pythons can climb trees in Florida. You may need to get a snakeproof box blind up on a tripod.
Mine is a nickname that was given to me by the guys I work with in the woods . When they saw me in a handmade coonskin hat my mother made from a chicken coop raider I killed one evening when I was a kid.
I used to go buy this name in a less than legal life I used to lead, but it helps to remind me were I have been. The 6661 is just to mess with people. I am a Christian, but I have a warped sence of humor.
OK. I'm a little late here but I'd like to respond because it's a great question. My handle is pretty boring - first/last name thing - because "idiot", "skunkedagain", and "numbfingers" were already taken.
