If it can handle a flyline, it can handle a sink-tip flyline. What does the 1266 stand for? A 126" long 6 wt. maybe?
My T&T is a 906-3. 9 foot, 6 wt, 3 pc.
A sink tip of the right size should work fine with the rod.
