A pole? If it is a fly rod it is a rod, not a pole. And 6 or 7 quality wise? What's that mean?..probably not worth anything.

If your cane pole is a split bamboo pole, it might be worth something. Does it have a reel seat and does it have snake guides on it?

Not to be a comedian but if it's as fishing pole that Huckfinn used it's about $6.00 if it's a fishing rod that was used by Brad Pitt in a River runs thru it about $300.00

I haven't heard of a 12' cane fly rod other than a old English Spey Rod. Sounds like a Huckfinn crappy pole to me as well.

good rod for lake fishing trout and panfish or for fishing larger rivers. to long for creeks and smaller rivers and back country fishing. 6 - 7 is a medium flyrod good action for 10" - 18" fish

And that's the problem with these questions. Someone, probably a younger person posts a question, doesn't give enough details for the question to be answered, and then can't, or will not respond...gets old.
