Has anyone traveled to England and fly fished? My girlfriend and I are looking to go November 7-9 and would like to mix in a day of fishing. Any tips of recommendations on guides or locations? I did a google search but would prefer actual experiences.

Sorry scooby, can't offer any personal experience. But I will say this: expect to pay to get on any water, as most everything in the UK is private. Good luck and good fishing!
I think that trout season ends in October.Reason is resting brown trout during spawning season. Maybe some of the lakes and ponds that trout can't spawn in are open but either way call ahead.Graying are open during the winter so bring some pink ice dub for any design you may use.
