What do you think is the best river to fly fish in the deep-south? I think the Chattahoochee in Ga but its one of the only river I fish in the deep south.

I dont know if you consider Eastern Tennessee the "deep-south", but the South Holston is supposed to be one of the best trout spots in the East. I wanted to get up there when I was in TN this summer but ran out of time.
I haven't ever been in the south but in Colorado I go between the Crystal and the Gunnison. I went on the Gunnison the other day and got a good brown on a hopper.
There is a great area to fly fish below the dam of Lake Lanier. It is just Northeast of Atlanta and very accessible. The scenery is tremendous.
