Q:
Should I put a peice of nightcrawler on micro jigs for bluegills? I was wondering if it is to difficult to hook them with crawlers on there. Also, are ant flies and little wooly buggers good flies for panfish?

yes for night crawler peices, and for flies i used small caddie's and caught many fish, but they would probably work

yes to both questions and also the flies that look like spiders and small poppers always work well when their spawning or in shallow water

Those ants and wooly buggers are terrific. I also love the Black Gnat size 10 to 14. Crawler pieces are wonderful bait. Good luck and have fun!

Yes dressing up a bait helps and crawler pieces work great. I prefer red worms over night crawlers because they don't use up so much of the hook. The flies you mentioned are good and I would also suggest a small cork spider.

There is nothing wrong with pieces of nightcrawler on jigs. sometimes it works well. As far as flies for bluegill wooly buggers are great in small sizes (14-16) along with small terrestrials or nymphs.
