I am in NC. My bro-in-law just turnin me on to crappies. Igrew upcatchin cats and bream and the occasional bass. Good luck catchin those devils through ice. They can be tough to find it seems. The new issue of field and stream has some crappie jigs recommended by some top guides. I would givem a shot. There is also article on fishing through ice. Good Luck to ya.

I would go with a glow jig with a wax worm.

Ratso jigs with a minnow or a waxie, and diamond jigs with waxies.
