Q:
Can someone provide me with a list of the best knots to use for fishing? Please provide the situation you would use them, too, and if you could, please give a link to a site where it shows how to tie them.

I like the Palomar knot to tie line to lure and the uni-to-uni knot to commect two pieces of line.

Check your F&S magazine a few months back. John Merwin had an excellent article about knots and knot strength.

Well my favorite knot is the Palomar knot.. strong and easy to tie. But versuscountry.com has a good little show on that. They had something called knot wars that tested the strongest knot with mono, braided, and flurocarbon.
