I release more because I like fresh fish and do not stockpile very much.

Mostly catch and release in the rivers. I like to take a couple Salmon/Steelhead each year to put in the smoker, that's about it.

I release all the freshwater fish i get. But when i get to a bay or saltwater, i eat most of the legal fish i get.

Catch and release for trout and bass. I eat the salmon, walleye, crappie/bluegill, catfish, etc.

90% of the time I release them unless one of my clients wants to eat some trout.

I am not a good fisher, but if i do catch a fish over about 6-7 inches i will keep it, croppies mainly

I usually catch and release on the lakes but i will take one home occasionally and eat it. I havn't caught a trout big enough to keep but when I do im gonna eat it.
