Basically any warm water river or creek and many lakes and ponds have carp. You should be able to find a place close to you. Check the NY DEC regulations though. In PA, we need a fishing license and can only hunt carp and suckers. Knowing NY and their love of regulations, I'm sure they've added a few more.

Thanks geneo. I know ny does have lots of regulations cause i sure wish i could bowfish for more types of fish.
To bad you can't bowfish for salmon or steelhead. In Pulaski, NY the Salmon River would be the place to go.
That would be pretty cool Gary, but it would also be cool to take real small arrows and go for sunfish.
