Q:
We are going to be fishing Northern Minnesota in late May/early June next year. We will be fishing for Northern Pike and Walleye mostly, my question is what rod action/length do you recommend for that type of fishing?

i would say for walleye a 6'6" to 7' medium heavy to heavy action would be good thats what i use for the maumee river in ohio
Buckeye ben is about right. You also might look into large trolling rigs with line counters and side planers. When I went to canada a popular method was using cane poles while trolling.
