I don't know if I've ever intentionally used a soft bait for pike. My top produces are a big red/yellow buck tail with gold spinner and of course the trusty daredevil red and white spoon..so maybe something a flashy holographic white with a nice red gill line would be good. Might have to get some normal shad colors and some red paint markers for that though. Anything flashy would probably get their attention, maybe a tiger color (black and orange) and don't be afraid to use freakishly large baits. You'd be surprised how small of pike will bite at an 8'' bait.
For soft baits for Pike, I prefer a Wave Worm rubber toad (they call their frog patterns toads for some reason???). I use a couple of lighter natural colors.
Black & yellow spinner in a #4 or #5.
The teeth of a pike usually make short work of plastics and they tend to swallow them quickly, so I usually do not use them, although I've had them hit plastic worms before.

I have had my best luck with white, white with a little red, and black/gold.
natural with blood. if you can't find blood, find natural and color it on.
caught one with a pink plastic worm before ...pike are very aggresive and not too picky
Hercules Candles work great!

I've had success on a blue/orange and a red/black stick bait worked in stop n go motion.
don't worry about the color...worry about size and action for time of year, then when you see what color the water is...adjust from there
