Great fishing rods. I've owned one for several months and have never for a point at which I was unsatisfied with it. Just remember to get the right type of rod and live for the fish you plan to catch
Great rod for a guy who is not exactly easy on his fishing gear, mine rattles around in the box of my truck all summer and I have detected no signs of the structural faltering.
I personally love mine. I have driven my fathers boat under a bridge and I left it standing up so that it accidentally hit the top and there wasn't even a scratch on it. They are just plain great for the money.

Oh and if you dont know where to find one i bought mine at target over by the camping and sports section, they probably have them at walmart too though.
Tough flexable rods, but not the best for detecting light subtle bites. Ugly sticks might make great bait fishing rods but do not work when fast hook sets are needed. Ugly sticks are also fiberglass and heavy compaired to a good heavy actioned graphite rod.
They are great, but not the best. If you are willing to pay more you can get a more sensitive rod, but for the price the sensitivity is great and they take more abuse than rods that cost 3x what they do.
ABSOLUTLY LOVE MINE!!! i fish with them for the past 10 years since my cousin gave me my first one and you cant beat the price. And a good example of how strong they are i went to the maumee river for the walleye for first time this year with my father in law and he said it wouldnt be able to handle it i broke the two other poles i brought and was using my 5 year old ugly stik and brought in my largest fish of week in on it at 8lbs 6oz their the best bang for your buck
i had one a few years back and found i wasnt getting solid hooksets off it, but if your the type of angler that is rough on your gear they are one of the better rods you could get.
