that's a tough one. crappie is probably the better tasting and a better choice if you have a lot of guests to feed.
I love catching bass, but i think crappie are better if your gonna eat em.

I love the challenge and fight that bass provide, but it's hard to resist a crappie fillet with a nice beer batter.

Bass, because there more of a challenge to catch for me, though I do like catchin my limit of crappie in the spring and eatin them.
i love catching crappie, if you are going for them you almost always get one, then it is just to see who gets the biggest one!
bass for cathing and crappie for eating
crappie for eating without a doubt but bass are better fighters for the catch and release category
Love catching them both, prefer eating crappie.
