I fish the WI every once and a while. I mainly fish the Stevens Point / Dubay area.

I had pretty good success fishing out of Merrimac south down to the dam. Also the pool area below the dam. You can launch your boat at the moon valley resort to fish the lake or at the Sac City VFW ramp for a small fee. Good luck!
joe my cabin is actually a few miles away from merrimac nd we go down to the moon valley resort all the time
I like to fish Swan Lake in between Portage and Pardeeville, as well as the Fox River more towards Montello. I've been on the WI river a few time by Portage and have always had a pretty good day/night.
