Sorry to hear that, I fish lake Elsinore, believe it or not the quality it pretty good. There are several accesible spots about 25 yards from the parking areas.
Try in front of the liquor store and Perret Park on the west side off of blackwell.
Good luck and take care.

Dude, hope the surgery good well. Check with the parks and wildlife dept, they may have a websight with info on accessable fishing piers.
Sorry to hear bout your knees, I too have had 4 knee surgeries and need more work still. Have your Dr's suggested the use of a tens unit? YOu might look into getting one, I have one and use it often, it helps with the pain and to create better muscle tone. Not knowing So Cal, I have no idea of fishing spots. I do know that most state parks offer easy access, so may look into these. good luck and catch bunches!!!
Thanks guys I really appreciate it
Good luck.. I can relate to your issues. I lived in Southern California and found it to be one of the toughest places in the U.S. to find good close fishing spots. I've had so many knee surgeries, I lost count. My right knee is titanium and the left one is pretty shredded. It depends on where you are exactly as most accessible ponds are badly overfished. I found great fish on the golf courses and surprisingly, they get little fishing attention. I'll bet if you talk to the course manager, and told him about your needs, you might get to fish some of the ponds as long as you are respectful of the golfers. Good luck with your next surgery, I am not looking forward to my next one. Good luck on the fishing too.
