I would fish as many North Central Minnesota lakes as possible. I would fish in clear waters out of an old town loon kayak with medium tackle. I would fish for big bass, pike and bowfin until i was unable to do so anymore.
I'd want to take a page out of Kentucky Hunter's book and go back to the swamp lakes where my dad used to take me fishing, but only if I could go back temporally as well as physically. Things have changed at those lakes starting with heavy timber cutting around them and it wouldn't be the same.
Since I can't go back, I'd choose either flats fishing in the Keys for bones, tarpon and permit or Austrailia's Great Barrier Reef for Black Marlin.
I would like to go on a jug fishing trip in the Mississippi from where the mouth of the Arkansas river emerges going south about twenty miles of float catching the big Mississippi bluecat on little blocks hundreds of pounds in a morning releasing anything over twenty pounds to go back and make babies.Keepin the small ones to fry up that afternoon.

Third week in June, Brooks River, Katmai National Park, Alaska for big rainbows and early sockey.
canoe the boundary waters in northern Minnesota for pike, walleye, and panfish.
Smallmouth fishing on Champlain with dad.
If I were allowed to go on one last fishing trip, I would travel to the great state of Alaska and fish for king salmon.
