Does a bear *#$% in the woods?
Not sure about the fishing but the snorkeling is amazing! The water is as warm as a bath and clearer then one. its unbelievable! What island are you going to? We went to st. john it was awsome
Anything from Billfish to Snappers of all colors, sheeps head, wahoo you name it. Snorkeling with a speargun is also fun. Great place to go.
So what can U catch? DARN GOOD TIME!

I have done scuba myself, but 90% of people have not snorkels do not require a major investment or expensive training.
we went to st. thomas and i didnt do much fishing i caught a tarpon and a baracuda. thats pretty much it for my fishing
