Q:
fishing at Rockport TX. Using Frozen shrimp. Any ideas on how to keep the shrimp on the hook. When they thaw and get mushy.

While they're on the boat don't let them get hot. Keep them on ice, but not in water. Also, on dead shrimp I run the whole hook through the length of the body, letting the curv of the hook curve with the curve of the shrimp.

Follow Redfish's advice, also make sure that you are using a large enough hook.
