Now that there are permits for fishing striped bass, I was wondering: If you are 15 & under, do you need to register for a permit and in 2011 (when you have to pay for a permit) will people 15 and under have to pay for permits?

log onto your states DNR web-page and look up fishing regulations. Each state is different and the rules are constantly changing.
if you fish from shore, i don't think you need a permit under 16.
