Go ahead and rub all you want. Wish it was me.

Try good old asparin. Of course, it works best if you take it before you get sore but it still should help reduce the inflamation and relieve the pain. Also might want to get down to a gym and jump into a hot tub. Use the jets to work on those arms.

I've been to Cabo for fishing and SCUBA diving. Fun place!!! Remedy: go to the Giggling Marlin and apply liberal amounts of tequila. Guaranteed to make your arms feel no pain!

Catch more fish! I deal with that at the start of every bluefin season, it will subside but then again, why would you want it to!?!?! I believe the Marines say "pain is weakness leaving the body"

Also avoid bulling in a fish, it creates a lactic acid build-up that ruins meat quality. Slow the fight, calm the nerves and keep on catchin fish!! Congrats by the way!!

When fighting fish breath in thru your nose and exhale thru your mouth. The reason your arms hurt is because they pump up and when that happens the blood flow decreases and causes the muscles to contract.Hence the sore arms. You can also try relaxing your grip and moving your fingers some to generate more blood flow to your forearms. That's where they hurt right? Another alternative is to use real light line on your reel. Something like 6 to 8 pound test, then when you hook up the line will breakoff after a few minutes and it will save your arms. Nice fish by the way, congrats

it's the same as any soreness after any workout... remedy: Stretch! Doing some light curls will also help, not enough to wear you out. workout more often, you won't get as sore as often if you keep your muscles up to date...

You can also eat foods that are high in potassium which helps break down lactic acid. Bananas, peppers, the OJ mentioned above and many others are all high in potassium.
Sounds like a fun trip, I wish I had sore arms from catching fish right now.

Capsicum rub would work with the soreness.

That is a nice problem to have! I suggest taking one Advil every 12 hours for a couple of days and like Quinton says, stretch. That it one mighty fine Mahi.. in celebration, I personally would also consider a couple shots of Patron tequilla.
