Pike and Walleye: Storm thunderstick, silver and black
Smallmouth: Berkley gulp on a jig
Trout: white crappie jig/panther martin
I guess thats three, but its hard to choose, guess thats why I have a giant fishing bag.
white double tailed mister twister with a floating head and a small split shot about 4 inches up.I like it cause it lets me do a top water or a jig type retreave.
Oh, don't forget about the Rapala countdown. (in silver)It is is the best all around crank bait. There good for bass, walleye, northern, and somtimes musky. There about 4-6 dollars at Gander mtn.

my number 1 would probably be a jig like they say it can be fished for almost anything but my other one would have to be a floating rapala.

Rapala Shadrap is my number 1 but the jig is right up there.
the jig is for me too, especially riiversdes and trout magnets
i would have to say the original floating rapala. but the jig comes in a very close second.
A worm is good for a varity of fish like bass bluegills, catfish, and trout. So you can fish for many fish with out changing bait!
