a goood fishing spot doesn't just come in one day. it takes time to find a reliable and comfortable fishing spot.

These are good answers but here it is.... Go hit the boat docks and bait stores, talk to the guys. If that fails check you G & F website AR gives a state wide fishing report so that will help also. If your state doesn't have one tell em to look a po dunk AR and get up to speed with them. You can save yourself a lot of miles and gas just hitting the bait shop or coffee shops in your area. Anyway try it out.

Experience but if you are new to an area or fishing... you can always go to the local bait shop and make friends. I still ask the question of "where are they biting?" today after I get my bait. With so many people walking in, you are bound to get some useful information.

Try goole earth.look for your local rivers on it , then look for bends in the river.Where theres a bend theres a fishing hole.
