So I got a Wetterlings Large Hunting Axe and have used it for a couple weeks now. I like it very much. The steel is excellent, the grain is very good, the feel is very good and it has good balance. Now it is not perfect, the head is a tad out of alignment although I haven't noticed when using it, and the handle was not cut off straight on the top of the head, I know thta really doesn't matter but I was expecting a straight parellel cut to the head. And it was not shaving sharp, although it took only a few minutes to get it there. All in all I would say it's worth the price, but it would be interesting to see a Gransfors Bruks to see a perfect axe, I don't plan on spending that much though. Well I know there were a few of you out there curious about the Wetterlings since I mentioned getting one in a previous post. Hope it helped.

Great choice. I looked hard at them but settled on a Cold Steel Trail Boss for my new truck/bushcraft axe.
