Has anyone ever order ammo online from Cabelas? Is buying ammo online difficult for us Californians? New to this please help!

I order it and have it shipped to NJ all the time. NJ is about as bad as it gets gun-law wise, probably right in line with the Republik of Ca. There are other websites that may offer better prices such as cheaperthandirt.com, natchezss.com and midwayusa.com, Good Luck

If I ordered it would be from cheaperthandirt.com or Midwayusa.com its much cheaper than Cabelas, I usually go to Cabelas to find what I want and order from my shooting club and always save a bunch of money.

I live in Los Angeles and have never had a problem purchasing rifle ammo by mail. However, the recently passed legislation will require a fingerprint to buy handgun ammo. Which will preclude that type of transaction by mail.

No it shouldn't be because you are part of the lower 48. You could call up cabelas and ask if you wanted to.
