Q:
My birthday is coming up and I'm either going to ask for a bowhunter jacket, or a rangefinder. Are there any good bowhunter jackets on the market?

I have a Cabelas whitetail extreme parka and love it. Even though it is big warm and bulky there is nothing for your bowstring to catch on and sleeves are cut for shooting comfort. It is silent fabrick and totally waterproof. Also has numerous pockets to stow gear in. This parka has kept me bone dry in a full downpout.

Haha thanks! After talking to my dad about my apparently "very nice" Mossy Oak jacket that I already have, I decided to ask for a rangefinder. I will definitely look into that jacket though!

I'm assuming by the term "bowhunter jacket" you are looking for something that is quiet.

I like saddle cloth. It is quiet, water resistant and cheap.

I have gone from wearing pullovers to going back to full front zip jackets. I like the ability on a warm day to stay cool.
