For waders, baking soda may help in some cases.
Well if you are going to deer hunt with them. A good way is to get a cooler full of apples and ice and put your clothes in that. It will make your clothes smell like apples and deer love apples. Just a thought though. Fish Hunt Kid also is right
I wash all my hunting gear baking soda or Dead Downwind. After the wash, I hang them outside and let the rain hit them for a few days. It's not until the temp gets to cold to air dry do I ever put anything in the dryer. Once they are dry, shake them out pretty good to get rid of the bugs, and then I put each set in a scent proof bag and don't put them on till I hit the field.
wash with no soaps, then air dry. After that I put mine in plastic bags with leaves sticks and a little dirt and keep it there till hunting time. Then when I get to the field I spray down with anti-scent spray. Available at any sporting goods store, just find what you like to use.
Same as tneal!
I use the scent-killing detergent for my hunting clothes.
For a leaf suit, I can tell you from experience that the more you wash it, the better it will look. I've washed mine literally dozens of times and it looks better (more natural) now than when I bought it over a decade ago.
Hang it on the clothesline for a few days, preferrably with some rain.
Wash in baking soda, air dry outside. place in clean plastic bag with fresh pine greens until use.
Put you clothes in a container with debree from around your stand or your hunting groun. and hang them outside for a few days spraying with nyou human scent eliminator.
hang them up, put them through a scent killing wash, or take a stroll through your home woods if you buy them out of season.
