1" Weaver Rings should do you just fine.Riser ?? do you mean a Scope Rail or Base??
You can put any high 1" mounts. I don't like to put risers on because it is just another thing that can work loose. The higher the better so that you can get a sight picture.
I have a Burris P.E.P.R. on my flat top AR. Just the right height, me eye lines up perfectly with the scope.
