No, I was just curious. I have friends in California that are wanting to get ammo wherever they can. They're scared of the whole thumb-print thing coming up over there.

Just last month montana skeeked in a bill saying it is legal to have guns in the nationalpark. It passes.

Is there a reason they are afraid of getting their fingerprints checked? Its no big deal unless you are a felon.

Illinois is one place that requires a state issued ID to even buy ammo, much less bring it into the state, my son lives there and is b**ching about it, I don't blame him.

NOT TRUE, IT ONLY APPLIES TO COMMON CARRIERS, YOU CAN TAKE AMMO INTO ANOTHER STATE, UPS-ETC HAVE RESTICTIONS' NO TO MASS, NJ, CA, NY CITY, AND SOME OTHERS--YOU CAN NOT SHIP AMMO TO THOSE PLACES.
CALIF --NO MAIL SALES AT ALL--THAT IS WHY THEY HAVE SO LITTLE, AND CAN'T GET A DEAL--ON LINE, NO DISTRIBUTOR, WANTS TO GO TO JAIL--THAT MY FRIENDS IS FREEDOM??

All states are a bit different. You can check your sherrifs depts and state troopers to check with the states you gonna travel through. I highly recomend doing this. In NH you can travel to and from but its the boarder states that you can run into problems with. MA has lots of laws. Make sure you stay within your laws cause it can ruin a good hunting weekend.
