Q:
The editor of our local newspaper printed today that the Blair Holt gun registration bill is indeed fact and will be implemented through the IRS. Is this true? If not, please send me some credible sources of information so that I can blast him out of the water!!!

I got an e-mail with the same info, but haven't been able to validate it because my wife deleted it before I was able to pursue the matter.

NAHC magazine has an article on this subject HR-45 and SB-2099 and said the bill (HR-45) "failed to get a co sponsor and barring the improbable is on its way to certain demise" end quote.

The best way to find out is to contact an NRA rep or your State legislator. If you want to know about it contact and stay on top of it thru a legislator. HR being house of Representatives bill means contact your states house Representative on the Hill.

I contacted mine(state legislator) when I first heard of the bill and was assured that he would vote against any such bill.

I use snopes.com to verify if things are fact or not. In this article they recommend to input HR-45 in a search and look through gov't websites. Hope this helps.

H.R.45 is considered to have NO chance of becoming law, as it has attracted no co-sponsors since its introduction in January of this year. It was referred to committee, where in all probability it will remain dormant until this session of Congress expires. Google "H.R.45" for sources.
