Q:
Any one used the new leverlouton ammo on the market. 32 special loads are getting tough to come by and the local shop guy told me they are stopping mass production this year for them. There are only a few companies left making them this being one of them. Any one used it yet?

My .32 Win only see reloads. I am waiting for Hornady to sell the LeverEvolution bullets instead of just the loaded ammo. I will be using my dad's M94 with Hornady 170gr FPs for this year's deer opener. He hunted javalina and bear with it - don't know if it has ever been used on a whitetail. LeverEvolution is a great concept. Can't wait to try it out with this gun.
I have recently used the LeverEvolution bullets in 44 Mag on a deer last week. One shot kill at 75 yards and the deer went off maybe 10 yards. I would say the performance of this was similar to using Nosler Ballistic Tips in terms of a very quick kill, and tissue damage. Great concept and gives very acceptable accuaracy in a Marlin 1894 Cowboy lever gun, I would have no issues recommending this bullet or any other Hornady product.
Never tried Leverevolution in my .32 Special, but imagine it would be a nice power boost, not that it isn't already a great deer cartridge in a great rifle. I would buy up as much as you can.
