I HAD an older A-Bolt and it shot well, but when my EX left she took it with her.

I have an older one and it really shoots well, mine has given good service for almost 20 years. They are high quality rifles with a reputation for accuracy.

What is the difference between the A-Bolt and A-Bolt II? My local gun store has a clearance sale on A-Bolts right now. A couple of my long-time hunting buddies have A-Bolts, actually several rifles each, and they love them. Accurate rifles from what I have seen.

I have an older stainless one in 270-made about 1994 that has excellent accuracy.I don't get to hunt with it much anymore because my sons keep borrowing it.

I acquired an a-bolt medallion with a boss in a 300 win a few years ago. I put a nikion monarche 3x10x50 scope on it. It's extremely accurate, and probably the smoothest factory set trigger I've shot. I've been extremely happy with it.
