What kind of gun should i ask for for my birthday?

IS IT YOUR FIRST GUN? do you want to duck hunt? do u already hunt? if you already hunt, ask for a remington 700 30-06 or preferably a marlin 45-70 im 14, i hadle the recoil just fine

Assuming it is your first gun, I think you should start out with a .22LR rifle, preferably not a semi-auto, and get in a lot of inexpensive range time.

I would say if it is your 1st gun and you are just starting hunting to ask for a good quality shotgun. You can hunt most anything with a good shotgun-small game & birds with shot shells-some big game with rifled slugs. I go with Mossberg for my shotguns.

If it's your first gun and if you want a shotgun, ask for a 20g., but if you want a rifle you should go for a 22 chambered in long and short cartridges, probably bolt action
