Q:
I'm in a state of panic, please all CVA wolf owners, I need help. My ramrod is shorter than the barrel, as usual. It allegedly has a cleaning function that (with the jag-end unscrewed and free)encounters another set of internal threads to extend the ramrod. I have followed the manual to a "T" and there seems to be no threading. So am I supposed to use the ramrod extension piece, which is only mentioned as a counterpart to the breech removing tool, or use an undersized ramrod, or buy another?

LOL, this ram rod design is not Cva's best. The internal ramrod is threaded inside the longer ramrod. Grip the ramrod firmly in one hand and twist the tip or jag counter clockwise, it will loosen, pull out to extend then twist into place to lock, reverse to shorten. Terrible design!!

Good Explanation Cgull. I understand the company will be changing the design. You are right, a Rube Goldberg design if there ever was one. I expect better from my friends in Norcross, GA.
